Day 1 - From State Route 20 go east for 16 miles to milepost 82. Turn left (north) on the Baker Lake Highway (Forest Service Road #11). At 12 miles, turn left on Forest Service Road #12. Travel 3.6 miles to the junction of Forest Service Road #13. Stay to right and follow Road #13 for 5.3 miles. The trailhead is located at the end of Road #13.

Day 2- backpack 3,500' (hard day) to camp just below the glacier

Day 3- recuperate and practice Glacier crossing

Day 4- Woke to whiteout and 40 degrees- snowing higher up- Weather gods not kind, so we did the wise thing and aborted the attempt to summit- still was an awesome climb!

Roughly 7,500' of climb- this is not a trivial outing- will need to have a harness and crampons, troop will provide the ropes
