Come Camp with Us !
It’s the weekend, and the webeloes (both I and II) are invited to come up on Saturday, November 18th to participate in a host of activities ranging from pioneering practice to orienteering to first aid- If they want to stay the night, they are welcome to participate in a typical boy scout campout. Packs must procure their own tour permit to cover the trip to Camp Parsons. We are going to be in Adirondacks and this is typical 'car camping'- but there is one heated building for use by the Female leaders (please bring a cot). Accordng to the Guide to Safe Scouting, in order to camp overnight, every webelos scout must be accompanied by an adult, and someone in your pack should complete (basic outdoor leader)BALLOO training. Our pack check (for those who wish to come by, it's not required) will be November 16th at 7 PM at the VFW hall on central valley road. Saturday night will be a dutch oven pot luck- If you don't want to make a Dutch Oven dish, then bring a side dish, or cookies/chips/etc.-- there should be enough food for all. The Boys are cooking grilled cheese and top Ramen for lunch on Saturday (bring your appetites), but breakfast on Sunday is on your own.

Head across Hood Canal Bridge. Continue on Hwy 104 to the Quilcene exit. Turn right off the exit ramp toward Quilcene. In downtown Quilcene turn left onto Hwy 101 at the US Bank. Go through Quilcene and head south on Hwy 101. Eight miles past Quilcene (milepost 303) turn left onto Bee Mill Road. Camp is 9/10 of a mile down the road on your right.
