11/16/2024 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Newberry woods Service Project Type: Work Party. This is a forested property recently purchased by the land trust, Great Peninsula Conservancy. We have a great opportunity for Troop 1539 to become regular stewards of this local forest by helping restore the environment and build/maintain trials and signage. This weekend, we will be working on removing invasive plants from the viewing area and main trail. Details on parking to follow. Forest is near Klahowya Secondary School off of Newberry Hill Road. |
