• WHAT IS A KLONDIKE DERBY?
It is a Winter Camping and Outdoor Skills Competition. Each patrol/team must build and bring a Klondike sled. Patrols/teams will load their sled with a minimum of the supplies required, (list will be distributed later), and pull them through the competition course. Patrols/teams will receive nuggets for their score at each station. The patrol/team with the most nuggets will win the overall derby. There will be a Friday evening cracker barrel and on Saturday evening awards will be presented for event and overall derby performance.
