8/19/2016 (4:30 PM) - 8/21/2016 Olympic National Forest Good event for scouts of every experience level. Scouts go on a short hike. Once they reach camp they are informed that there has been a tragic accident and their gear is lost. Scouts are challenged to use their skills to survive in the wilderness using the few tools they have left. Scouts will have to build a shelter and cook without a stove, pans, and utensils. The scouts come home tired and with a big smile on their faces after "surviving" outdoors.
