Scouts will be lead through a preflight of an aircraft. Then they will be issued their own private pilot log book and introduced to their Young Eagles Volunteer pilot who will being giving them their 20min flight.


Once the Scouts finish there flight they are free to view the historic military vehicles, car show, model planes and full sized aircraft with their families.

They must have a parent with them to sign off on the paperwork for the flight.

Scout must be in Class "A" Uniforms.

This will satisfy the Aviation Merit Badge requirement 2a, 2b and 4a. An Aviation Merit Badge counselor can sign off the requirements once you complete your pre-flight and flight. The 1539 counselors are:
Pat Cherry, Randall Kelly, Jason Mauk, and Mike Maxwell.
