11/1/2013 (6:00 PM) - 11/2/2013 Camp Yeomalt Bainbridge Island WHAT: Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) is a part of the Basic Training curriculum required of adult leaders to become a Boy Scout Scoutmaster or Assistant Scoutmaster. The course is also useful for other scouting leaders to learn the skills that will be taught to the boys as a part of the outdoor program through the rank of First Class Scout. WHEN: Friday November 1st through Saturday the 2nd (Friday 6:00 PM up until 6:00 PM Saturday) WHERE: Camp Yeomalt, Bainbridge Island. 900 Park Ave NE (Near Park and Yeomalt Pr. Dr.) COST: $10 WHAT TO BRING: • Scout Handbook • Ten Essentials • 2-3 Person tent, ground cloth, sleeping bag and pad (and whatever other overnight gear you need to sleep outdoors) • Eating Weapons (plate/bowl/cup for hot liquids/utensils) • Rain Gear • Notebook/Pencil or Pen • Camp/Beach Chair • 2 Native Plant Samples Directions |
