The fact that a boy is an Eagle Scout has always carried with it a special significance, not only in Scouting but also as he enters higher education, business or industry, and community service. The award is a performance-based achievement whose standards have been well-maintained over the years. Not every boy who joins a Boy Scout troop earns the Eagle Scout rank; only about 4 percent of all Boy Scouts do so. Since 1911 more than 1 million Boy Scouts have earned the rank of Eagle, 119 are from Troop 1539.

We have listed all of our Eagles and as many of their projects that we have on file. If you earned your Eagle rank while a member of Troop 1539, we would like to hear from you. Alumni Eagles are encouraged to submit their own resume or summary of their project. Information about your project will help our Life scouts in their quest for Eagle.

While we claim every scout who has been in 1539 as one of our Eagles- those that actually completed their Eagle while part of another Troop are also listed here with an asterisk, and are not in the total count.
