Mountaineering workup for the Mt. Baker climb. This is a great event to start learning general mountaineering skills for future climbing. If you are registered to climb Mt. Baker, this event is a requirement for training and safety purposes.
Car camping at Cougar Rock for both nights. On Saturday we will go to Paradise and hike up for rope training and safety skills for the Mt. Baker climb. Early Sunday morning we will climb to Camp Muir then return home.
Meet at the Scout Hall Friday by 3:00 PM, we will leave no later than 3:30 PM. Bring a sack dinner.
